Experience a smoothing of the mimic wrinkles, which gives you a refreshed and calm facial expression.
Wrinkles are part of the natural development of life and do not disturb every line, but some make the facial expression more severe or tired. Just mimic wrinkles such as the wrinkles of anger, wrinkles of forehead or crow’s feet produce exactly these effects.
With a specialist Botox® treatment, we at Myskin-Berlin have a proven means at hand to ensure relaxation in these areas. Because Botulinum toxin type A has a direct effect on muscle activity and can thus clearly smooth lines in the face. In our Berlin practice, we rely on precise dosage and honest advice. Finally, we recognize a good treatment because it is hardly noticeable.
Botulinum toxin type A is a proven method and follows a clear structure for Myskin. As a human being, you are always in the focus with your questions and wishes.
Advice
At the beginning we talk about your wishes and analyze your facial facial facial expressions. This allows us to assess which wrinkles are suitable for treatment with Botox® and which goals are achievable.
Planning
Based on this analysis, we specifically determine the muscles that are to be treated. A precise dosage is crucial in this process, so that the facial expression remains natural.
Treatment
The injection takes place with very fine needles directly into the corresponding muscles. This usually takes only a few minutes and is felt by many patients as hardly stressful.
Results
The effect develops gradually. First changes are usually visible after a few days, the complete result is apparent after about one to two weeks.
Despite clear and experienced handling, side effects may also occur with Botox® treatment, including mild redness, small swelling or occasionally a small bruising at the injection site. These reactions are usually transient and resolve within a short time.
Botulinum toxin type A is an active substance that specifically influences the signal transmission between nerve and muscle. This temporarily reduces the activity of certain facial muscles. Since many wrinkles are caused by repeated muscle movements, the overlying skin can relax by the reduction. The result is usually a visible smoothing of mimic wrinkles and a calming facial expression.
Botox® treatment only works naturally if it is carefully planned and carried out. This requires a precise understanding of facial anatomy and muscle movements. Experienced doctors such as Dr. Pettker therefore analyze the facial expressions before treatment and determine exactly which muscles should be treated at what dosage. This helps to achieve a harmonious result and avoid possible side effects or
The active substance is also used for various medical conditions in which an overactive musculature or increased activity of certain glands plays a role.
An overly active chewing muscle can cause discomfort such as gnawing teeth (broxism) or tension in the jaw area. Through targeted treatment with Botox®, the activity of this muscle can be temporarily reduced, the chewing muscle relaxes and the load in the jaw area often decreases significantly.
In the case of hyperhidrosis, the sweat glands produce excessive and uncontrolled amounts of sweat. Botox® temporarily blocks the signal transmission to these glands and thus contributes to significantly reducing sweat production in the affected areas, for example under the armpits or on the hands.
Our patients do not want a completely new expression or a mask effect, but an exterior that fits the feeling of the inside. A relaxed look, a calmer forehead, less tension in the expression. Small changes can often make a lot of difference here.
A Botox® treatment can be a way to do something good for yourself and to give your own appearance more lightness. If you are wondering if a treatment is suitable for you, we will be happy to take time for personal advice in our Berlin practice.
Together we look at what possibilities there are and which way best suits you.
